Rates
$75-100 A 50-minute session with a PhD, Mental Health Counselor or Marriage and Family Therapist will be $75 - $100 and an 85-minute session will run $112.50 to $150.
$55-75 A 50-minute session with a registered Mental Health Counselor intern or registered Marriage and Family Therapist intern will be $55 - $75 and an 85-minute session will run $67.50 to $112.50.
The rates adjust to level of experience of your counselor.
Insurance
The Mending Group accepts insurance from CompCare. If you are interested in using insurance to offset the cost of counseling, please contact your benefits department for pre-approval and then provide your counselor with the approval information.
The Mending Group utilizes a private pay method where the client pays for services with their own funds. A key benefit of this method is the increased confidentiality for you in keeping your clinical and personal information from being shared with the insurance company. However we will gladly provide you with a receipt for your records if you would like to file a claim with your insurance company.
Reduced Fee
Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis. If you are in financial need, this option is available on a limited basis and may require being placed on a waiting list.
Payment
We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards for payment. Payment is due at the time of service. A credit card will be kept on file and in the event of a missed appointment or cancellation without 24 hour notice, a fee will be assessed up to the cost of one session.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
